Personal Tax Assistant Manager
West London
Competitive salary

Our Client is a top 45 Accountancy firm that is looking for a highly motivated Personal Tax Assistant Manager to join their strong Tax team at their superb West London offices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Looking after a portfolio of personal clients
  • Reviewing income tax returns and ensuring compliance is up to date
  • Dealing with client queries as they arise
  • Taking a leading role in the management of the tax department and the management of workflow
  • Participation in training of other team members
  • Participation in the critical on-going review of tax systems
  • Some review of work undertaken by other more junior department members
  • Significant liaison with the other managers within the department and partners
  • Drafting advisory and transaction documents for review by senior managers and partners

Key skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge
  • ACA, ACCA or CTA fully qualified
  • Practice experience is highly desirable
  • Prior exposure to Corp Tax, VAT, ATED and Stamp Duty is desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good IT skills
